Launch of Project SCoPE in Punjabi

Project SCoPE (Science Communication Popularization and its Extension) is a flagship programme of Vigyan Prasar(VP) , an organization of Department of Science & Technology , Govt. of India to promote and popularize advancements in science & technology in all major Indian languages. Vigyan Prasar has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST) to launch the multi dimensional project SCoPE in Punjabi. The MoU was signed on 24.05.2022 by Dr. Nakul Parashar, Director, VP and Dr. Jatinder Kaur Arora, Executive Director, PSCST. SCoPE in Punjabi envisions to produce literature in Punjabi as well as translate literature developed by Vigyan Parsar for wider dissemination to generate interest about science . There will be capacity building workshops, short video preparations on S&T applications as well as activity camps for students and teachers. Also an online Punjabi Science Magazine ‘Jigyasa’ would be published every month. The first issue of Jigyasa was released on 24.05.2022.
